What you’ll learn inside Passion to Profit:

  • In this first module we’ll take a look around Amazon KDP, set up your account and author profile and learn how the self-publishing process on Amazon KDP works including book size and format options, publishing timelines and understanding book royalties.

  • We get straight to work on your final project, learning about book sizes and how to create a layout for the internal pages of your first low-content book. You’ll learn how to set up a book layout using Adobe InDesign, Procreate or Canva. Then you will have two weeks to work on the layout of your own notebook or planner design with ongoing support in the course group chat.

  • You’ll learn how to use the KDP cover calculator to create a template for your book cover, then how to import that template into Canva, Procreate or Adobe Illustrator to design eye-catching book covers in your own creative style.

  • In this first BONUS module, you’ll learn my personal process for launching self-published low-content books including email sequences, how to create mock-ups of your book designs and top tips for sharing your new book on social media. You'll also get a 'book launch content plan' to help you with planning for peak sale season.

  • In this module you’ll learn how to export your book designs (manuscripts) and upload them to Amazon KDP. You’ll also learn my personal process for creating engaging book titles and descriptions as well as top tips on how to use Chat GPT to help improve your listing page SEO.

    Following this lesson you will have two weeks to work on your book’s details and VIP Students will get personalised feedback on their final projects.

  • In this pre-recorded lesson I'll show you how to add additional images, details and previews of your book's layout to your listing pages with KDP A+ content.

  • In this final live lesson I'll share examples of VIP student's projects with feedback highlighting best practice. All students will also have an opportunity to troubleshoot problems you’ve ran into and ask further questions that have come up for you during the duration of the course.

Live lessons start Thursday 16th May and will run until Tuesday 1st July 2025. All students will retain access to the course hub and lesson replays after the live run of the course ends. The Slack group will stay open and active until mid-July.

  • Live lessons will run on Tuesdays or Thursdays at 5PM or 6PM (Central European Time). Lesson replays will be posted in the course hub within 24 hours of the live lesson ending.

  • Yes! Once you sign up for the course you will get access to the course hub - this is where the replays of all the live lessons will live plus any other material that I create and share during the run of the course.

  • No! I will structure the lessons around the project of a simple lined notebook or colouring book, this way no matter your skill level, you will be able to not just learn how to use KDP but actually experience the process of creating a low-content book and following every step of the process. Everyone will finish the course with their own final project ready for publishing and this will give you a foundation to build all your future creative book ideas from.
